Is it a 24 hour gym?

Yes, the gym can be accessed 24 hours a day, 365 days per year

2

Do you have lock-in contracts or sign up fees?

No. The Iron Foundry does not believe you should pay for a service you no longer use anymore, as such, all you need to do is provide two weeks' notice and your membership can be cancelled or placed on hold.

It also does not cost us anything for you to join our gym, so we do not believe you should be paying for something that does not cost us anything or for the privilege of joining The Foundry.

There is a $60 access card fee. This pays for the physical card, as well as the 24 hour remote monitoring service that the gym provides.

I am not sure what to do, can you help me out?

We understand it can be a little daunting starting out at a Strength & Conditioning gym, so to aid you we are able to provide you with a program that caters for your individual strength and conditioning goals.

Also, our Full Coaching and Online Coaching members are entitled to weekly one-on-one catchup times with our coaches to keep us updated about their progress and ask any questions they may have. This way we can make sure we are giving our valued members full support and guiding them towards the right direction. Our coaches will take care of everything from optimising your technique in the lifts to giving you nutritional guidance, writing your individualised programs and laying out a clear roadmap for what you have to do to get to your goals.

4

Do you have classes?

No, I do not believe in classes. In a class you may have members with different goals, such as losing fat, putting on muscle, improve conditioning, etc, yet they are all doing the same workout. Yes, they may all achieve their goal/s, but not in the most efficient or effective manner, as an individualised plan would do.

5

Will I get a training program?

Yes, on our Programming-Only, Online Coaching and our Full Coaching we take care of all the programming done specifically for you and your needs which we will be discussing in detail prior to starting by finding out what your strengths and weaknesses are as well as other information such as current injuries, how many days per week you can train, other commitments and a whole host of other things.

6

Do you do drop-ins?

Drop-ins are always welcome. Just make sure you are coming at a time when staff will be there to open the door for you so please ring ahead or email us to organise a time.

7

Can I try The Foundry out?

Yes, we offer a 3 day free trial session to anyone who wants to try The Iron Foundry for the first time. Simply contact us to book your times for a 3 Day Trial. After you have attended your free session we encourage you to become part of the community so you can make the most of what we have to offer.

8

Do I need to be an experienced gym rat to train at The Foundry?

Simple answer is, no. We do not care what your strength or conditioning levels are, and we do not care how much experience you have. We only care that you are serious and committed to achieving your strength and conditioning goals.

9

Do you accept Fitness Passport?

No, for the reason give above. We ONLY want members who are serious and committed to achieving their strength and conditioning goals. This is the culture we are cultivating and this is the training environment we want, and as such, admitting anyone with Fitness Passport does not allow us to screen who accesses The Foundry.

10

Can I switch back and forth between memberships?

Yes, so for example, if you start off with a non-coaching membership, but after a while you feel you need a bit more structure, guidance or accountability, then you can switch your membership to our Coaching or Online Coaching membership, and vice-versa.

11

Does The Recovery Area cost extra?

No, it is part of all Iron Foundry memberships. Casual rates do apply for non-members.
